Modulo Kinetic V6 Powers an Interactive LED Corner

Introduced at ISE 2025, the new version 6 of Modulo Kinetic powered an immersive interactive LED experience. The LED corner showcased the cutting-edge features of Modulo Pi’s media server, offering an engaging demonstration of its new capabilities.

With Modulo Kinetic Version 6, Modulo Pi introduces groundbreaking features to make immersive and interactive experiences more accessible than ever before.

At ISE 2025, Modulo Pi showcased an interactive LED corner featuring two walls and a floor, fully powered by Modulo Kinetic V6 and integrated 2D and 3D LiDAR technology. The result? A real-time, fully customizable experience capable of transforming any space into a dynamic and interactive world.

With seamless LiDAR calibration for real-time user tracking and an enhanced library of effects, Modulo Kinetic V6 enables gesture- and movement-based interactivity—all without coding or complex gateways to a suite of third-party tools.

In addition, the interface is more user-friendly than ever, with major upgrades to its embedded 3D engine, including better photorealistic rendering and lighting.

Throughout the show, visitors could step in the LED corner and interact with 4 different demos.

The set-up consisted in:
1 x Modulo Kinetic Designer
1 x Modulo Kinetic V-Node server equipped with 1 x 4K output
2 x Hokuyo 2D LiDARs (Model UST-10LX) – One on top of each wall for interactivity on walls
1 x Ouster 3D LiDAR (Model OS0) – For interactivity on the floor
LED walls: 18 sqm of ROE LED DM 2.6mm
LED floor: 9 sqm of ROE LED BM4

Modulo Kinetic capabilities demonstrated through the different demos:

By touching walls or walking on the LED floor, visitors could interact real-time with media, generate content, trigger videos, images or sounds, and more.
