Animated 3D models, Louvre Museum
July 2016, Paris – France
3D models presented on the Pavillon de l’Horloge welcome visitors and take them through the transformation of the palace with interactivity, backlighting and touch control devices.
The technical setup consists in 6 x Sony laser video-projectors fed by 2 x Modulo Player media servers, as well as an Art-Net DMX interface, and UltraWide touch screens.
Modulo Player controls the whole backlighting in DMX made of 28 x LED RGBW stripes.
The media server was also used for the warping, and to control video-projectors in PJLink. Finally, Modulo Player allows to launch several playlists simultaneously based on the interactions of the audience with the touch screens through a dedicated app.
